Lyric Opera Berlin presents Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore!

Our mission is to reach new audiences of all ages, and bring singers together in a safe and fun space for us to share our passion. Founded in 2015, we've organized concerts featuring over 50 artists from all corners of the globe. This is Lyric Opera Berlin's first full production.

Staying true to our mission, we chose an opera which is not only beautiful and fun, but an instant fan-favorite: Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore! It features the famous tenor aria "Una furtiva lagrima," and many other recognizable numbers. L'elisir d'amore is a comedy featuring love, jealousy, and a certain travelling quack salesman peddling the eponymous Elixir of Love. Is it truly the fabled love potion? Will the boy get the girl? Young professional singers bring this story to life in a traditional staging of this classic opera.

Performed in Italian with string quartet and piano.
